The best thing about line dancing is you don’t need a partner!

Line dancing is where everyone on the dance floor is dancing solo. Each line dance is choreographed to a particular song making it super fun. After dancing a variation of patterns the dancers rotate either 90 or 180 degrees turning to a new wall and the choreography repeats. This continues until the song ends. There are several line dances and depending on the region some of the moves can vary. Lines dances range from beginner to advance levels.

I personally love line dancing and highly recommend it to everyone. It’s a great way to start because you learn all your turns, steps, elements, balance, and spacial awareness. It also helps improve memory. There is no lead or follow which leaves much freedom to enhance your own movement using different variations once you master each dance.
